I'm confused, What License should I choose?

MP3 License

If you’re on a tight budget and aren’t expecting many sales or streams or any airplay, you save some money to spend on more beats if you purchase the mp3 license option.

WAV License

If you care about quality, get the wave license lease. You get a 24 bit studio wave file which will sound better once you’ve added your vocals to it, even if you are converting it back to mp3 later as you’ll avoid re-encoding the mp3. Also it will respond better to limiting and mastering. You are also allowed 10x the amount of allowed streams, 3x more sales and 50% more performances compared to the mp3 lease.

Trackouts License

If you’re going into a professional recording studio with a good engineer, get the Trackouts license or he’ll be annoyed lol. Although it’s true that all of our beats are pre-mixed to an extremely high standard, we have no idea what your voice sounds like and getting the trackouts ensures your engineer has full control over the mix so that your vocal will fit the best in the mix. It also gives you the ability to mute certain instruments in certain parts of the track and re-arrange the drums in different places.

You also get 1,000,000 allowed streams with this one and up to 10 radio stations, more allowed performances and sales. That is a massive 20x the amount of streams of the mp3 lease.

Viral License

Think you’ll go viral? Then the viral license is for you. You get the Trackouts just like in the Trackouts lease but you also get up to 10 million monetized audio streams and 10 million video streams.

10 million streams as an unsigned artists would be insane because you can get between $6,000 – 8,400 per million streams on Spotify if you don’t have a label. That means for 10 million you can earn between $60,000 – $84,000 with this license on streaming alone (before taxes). That’s crazy!
